Santiago Craig

Santiago Craig was born in Buenos Aires. In 2017, he edited Las Tormentas (Stories, Ed. Entropía) which was one of the five finalists for the 2018 Gabriel García Márquez Short Story Prize and obtained first mention in the National Literature Prize. In 2018, he published 27 ways to fall in love, his second book of short stories (Ed. Factotum). In 2020, he published his first novel: Castillos, by Editorial Entropía and the French translation of his book Las Tormentas, (Les Orages, Ed. Latinoir) was published. In 2020, 27 Ways to Fall in Love was adapted to the theater. During 2021, he published the book of stories Animales (Ed. Factotum), selected by the Ministry of Culture among the Key Titles of Argentina 2021. Among other awards and mentions, in 2012, he won the Córdoba Provincial Poetry Prize with his collection of poems “ The Games”, in 2015 he won first prize in the Eugenio Cambaceres Contest, organized by the National Library and the publishing house interZona, with his story “Elefante” and the second prize from the FNA in the short story category in 2019. He has been teaching writing workshops since 2016 .
