Pablo Bernasconi

ablo Bernasconi was born in Buenos Aires in 1973. He is a graphic designer who graduated from the UBA.
where he was a Design teacher for 6 years. He began his work as an illustrator in the newspaper
Clarín in 1998, and currently works for different publications around the world. Their
Illustrations of him are published in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Saturday
Evening Post, Daily Telegraph, Bergens Tidende (Norway) and The Times.
He has published twenty children’s books, as author of the text and illustrations: El Brujo, el
Horrible and the Red Book of Spells, The Diary of Captain Arsenio, Hiccup Doesn’t Swim, The Zoo

Joaquín, Black White Cow Leather, Rebellion in Tortoni, Excesses and exaggerations, The Supers
Awards, The Dream of Little Captain Arsenio, The True Explanation, NO (it’s like that), Quetren
Quetren, Lies and bruises and The Infinite; four picture books for adults: Portraits 1
and 2, Bifocal and Finales, and illustrated more than fifteen titles by authors of different nationalities
(María Elena Walsh, Gustavo Roldán, Liliana Bodoc, Gaby Herbstein, María Teresa Andruetto,
Luis María Pescetti, Elsa Bornemann).
