Nani Brunini

ani Brunini was born in 1976, in São Paulo. Before moving to Lisbon, where she currently lives, she lived in Manheim, Helsinki, London and San Francisco. She studied Fine Arts at the University of São Paulo and Industrial Design at UFPE, Recife. She has a Master’s Degree in Design Management from the University of Cambridge in England. After 10 years working with design research and strategy at agencies such as TBWA in Helsinki and Samsung in London, she returned to brushes and colored pencils. In 2020 she was invited to publish her first book, Discordia, the result of a course held at the Ar.Co. art school, taught by Catarina Sobral and Tiago Guerreiro, under the direction of André Letria, editor of Pato Lógico. One of the exercises of the course was precisely the creation of a visual narrative for the collection of silent books Imagens Que Contam.
