Amanda Mijangos

Graduated from the Faculty of Architecture and the Diploma in Illustration from the Academy of San Carlos, UNAM. She studied Illustration in Buenos Aires, Argentina in the workshop of Daniel Roldán. She studied Ceramics at the INBA School of Crafts and since 2015 she has linked this craft with illustration.
She is the winner of the 8th Iberoaméricailustra Catalog, Honorable Mention at Sharjah’s Children Reading Festival and selection at the Bratislava Illustration Biennial, at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair and in the White Ravens Catalog.
She has illustrated literature and poetry for people of all ages in publishers and magazines such as FCE, Loqueleo, Ediciones Castillo, El Naranjo, Planeta and Limonero among others.
Since 2013 she has managed and co-coordinated independent spaces open to the public, dedicated to the professionalization of illustrators. She has taught drawing and illustration workshops
for audiences of all ages.
