Albertine

Albertine is a renowned illustrator from French-speaking Switzerland. She was the first Swiss artist to receive the prestigious Golden Apple in Bratislava, for her Marta et la bicyclette. In 2009 she won the Schweizer Kinder- und Jugendmedienpreis for La Rumeur de Venise. The work The Birds, in collaboration with Germano Zullo, received the Sorcières Prize and was listed by the New York Times Book Review as one of the 10 best books of the year in 2012. My Little One, a work by the same creative duo, received the First Award at Bologna, Children’s Book Fair in 2016. In recognition and appreciation of her work, Albertine has received the prestigious HANS CHRISTIAN ANDERSEN 2020 award.
