Ema is eight years old and collects extraordinary objects she finds along the way. She keeps them in her own museum. In her country, which could be any country, the situation is getting worse. Ema and her parents have to escape, leaving behind part of their family, their home, and her museum. Their new place is strange and uncomfortable.
